If you've never been to a run event at Disneyland Paris you may not know but the character lists aren't announced and neither are the numbers or locations of them. There are a number of things we can work out from last the first two years and the announced themes.
How Character Meets Work
This is not a normal meet experience. Don't expect autographs, no one signs, even if they usual do. All of them should have a photopass photographer near by but don't count on it and you need to have bought the run weekend photopass. A normal park one won't cover it. You can take a camera but you will most likely need to hand this to someone stood behind you or a friend if you want to get in the picture with your child. These pictures are really just for the kids but there is some allowance of you need to hold the child.

For the first couple of years the focus has been on the big 5 on kids races with Mickey appearing on the medals. They were dressed in their run gear but 2018 looks to be a bit different but around half a dozen characters are normally out.

Character swapping
There shouldn't be an issue with character swapping as the races are staggered so should allow characters the breaks they need.

2018 Theme
The theme for 2018's runs is villains, but for the kids they are focusing on Stitch and his Alien friends.

Characters Likely to be out
1. Stitch - He's on the medal and the only character that seems to be confirmed for any race.
2. Angel - She was out with Stitch at the 10k in 2017 and is an Inventions regular.
3. Leroy - The red experiment created by Jumba from Leroy and Stitch. He is the side kick of Dr. Hämsterviel. He appeared in the 25th Anniversary day parade.
4. Reuben - This may be a character you've never heard of but he is Captain Gantu's side kick in Leroy and Stitch (the Lilo and Stitch spin off) and appeared as part of the 25th Anniversary day parade.
5. Sample - Another alien from Lilo and Stitch. Sample is yellow and appeared as part of the 25th Anniversary day parade.
6 & 7. Jumba & Pleakly - They met some people at FanDaze during a special Stitch Live. I would see these as side kicks to Captain Gantu and the closest thing to a definitive villain side kick in Lilo and Stitch
8. Mickey - Its a kids race and kids love Mickey. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him make an appearance in his running gear.
Dont expect to meet these
It is unlikely you'll see anyone who isnt from the Lilo and Stitch universe but Mickey may show up. Villains also look likely to be excluded. Most likely to avoid scaring young children.
